This infrared (IR) system is easy to operate and features a lightweight receiver/headset with adjustable volume, tone and balance controls for optimum customization. The transmitter holds up to 2 headsets and automatically recharges the battery within 3 hours with each charge lasting about 8 hours. DIRECT EAR SET 820

Same concept as TV Ears with the exception that this product uses radio frequency (RF) waves to send information from the transmitter to the receiver, providing users with the ability to leave the room while still hearing the TV! The system's transmitter simply connects to the audio socket of a TV. The adjustable headset, which houses the receiver, comes with a large, easy to use volume control.
