Amplified telephones work just like standard telephones and can be used with or without a hearing aid. Amplified telephones provide the ability to increase the volume of the ring and the caller's voice when needed. Some amplified phones come equipped with a flashing signal that can be activated to light up when the phone rings.

The technology in this phone makes speech sound more natural by making softer sounds louder so they can be heard while making louder sounds comfortable. The most powerful amplified phone provides up to 55dB of amplification. To amplify an incoming call, simply push one button and adjust the volume as needed. A tone control button allows for maximum conversation clarity. When you hang up, the TeleTalker automatically returns to its default setting, allowing others to use the phone without amplification. Comes with a red flashing ring indicator, an adjustable 95dB ringer, and large, easyto- see buttons. Five year warranty.

Voice Carry Over Telephone

The Voice Carry Over (VCO) telephone allows individuals with significant hearing loss to actually read what the caller is saying. The VCO service is provided free of charge by your local telephone company. You simply speak into the hand set as you would a regular phone and then read what the caller is saying from the phone's LCD screen. No typing required. The VCO telephone can amplify up to 30 dB. Other features include a visual ring flasher, adjustable 85 dB ringer, memory dial, hold, and redial buttons. One year warranty.

Phone ringers connect to existing phones or stand alone phone jacks and are designed to make the phone ring louder. In addition, some phone ringers come with a switch that activates a flashing light when the phone rings, providing another means of knowing when a call is coming in on your phone. The Ringmax allows you to increase the volume of the telephone ring, adjust the tone and modify the rate. It can be adjusted up to 95dB and has a flashing red indicator light. NoiZfree™ Cell Phone Amplifier

This product allows you to amplify incoming calls on your cell phone without the need to remove your hearing aids. This light-weight, discrete ear hook fits easily over the ear. Simply switch your hearing aid to the "T" or "MT" positions - sounds come in crystal clear via your hearing aid(s). Available in mono (one ear), bin-aural (both ears), or HR (ear hook on one side, ear bud on the other for those with hearing loss in only one ear who want to hear in stereo) styles.
